Kochi Refineries in red, suffers loss of Rs 9.8 crore in Q4

Mumbai, April 24 (UNI) Kochi Refineries Ltd has posted a net loss of Rs 9.8 crore for the quarter ended March 31, this year as compared to a net profit of Rs 224.8 crore for the quarter ended March 31 last year.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 3,515.5 crore in Q4 FY 04-05 to Rs 4,522.0 crore for Q4 FY 05-06.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 210.8 crore for the year ended March 31 (FY 05-06) as compared to Rs 842.1 crore for the year ended March 31 (FY 04-05). Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 13,210.2 crore in FY 04-05 to Rs 14,766.1 crore for FY 05-06. The figures for the year ended March 31, last year are audited.

NIIT to computer education to more states

Hyderabad, Apr 24 (UNI) Revealing that the NIIT, Asia's largest IT trainer, will add 400 more schools for providing computer training to school kids across the country, NIIT Director and Chief Operating Officer P Rajendran today announced its plans to introduce simulated Labs for schools which could not not afford conventional labs. Presently 1.5 million students of 4500 schools, including those in Assam, Chattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, Tripura and West Bengal.....

TIENS would undertake survey on Supermarket
