K N Radhakrishnan appointed as president of TVS Motor Company

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Mr K N Radhakrishnan has been appointed as the President of TVS Motor company, a release issued here today stated.

Prior to joining TVS Motor company, Mr Radhakrishnan was the Head of Business Planning and Human Resources at Sundaram Clayton, a group company where he started his career 20 years ago after doing his M. Tech from IIT, Chennai.

An expert in TQM and planning, Mr Radhakrishnan, 43, is the youngest person, so far, to have held the position of president of the company, stated the release.

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Galloping a 709 per cent fourth quarter (Q4) leap in net profit in FY-06 over the comparable period the previous fiscal, Reliance Capital has closed its last financial year with a whopping 508 per cent jump over FY-05. The Anil Ambani group company recorded a huge net profit of Rs 286 crore in the last quarter of FY-06 ended March 31 as against Rs 35 crore a year ago, an increase.....

Baramulla, Apr 24 (UNI) People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Javid Ahmad Baig escaped unhurt when unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade towards a polling booth at Wagoora in Sangrama assembly constituency, causing injuries to 16 voters and two security personnel. A poll official and two voters were injured in a grenade blast at Palhalan in the Pattan assembly constituency where polling is underway for the byelections.
