Jaya shree textiles latest in haute couture

Hyderabad, Apr 24 (UNI) West Bengal-based Jaya Shree Textile(JST ), manufacturers of LINEN CLUB FABRICS, has unvelled its premium collection of pure linen and exotic natural blends of linen in Hyderabad.

Linen Club is the ''only'' fabric produced in India from the imported French and Belgium Fibre, in house spun, woven and process and state of art European technology.

Presently JST is having capacity to produce eight million mtr. per annum which is likely to grow at 30 per cent annually with its continuous modernization and expansion plan, a company release said today.

Hyderabad, Apr 24 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today inaugurated the Wipro Manikonda campus and unveiled the foundation stone for Wipro's campus at Gopanapally today. Wipro Chairman Azim Premji today said the new campus would be the company's second largest in the world. The Government allotted 30 acre land to Wipro in Manikonda village in Ranga Reddy district, of which six lakh sq ft of office space in 14 acre had.....

UltraTech posts net profit of Rs 82 cr

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Aditya Birla group company UltraTech Cement Limited has posted a net sales of Rs 1,022 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006, as against Rs 696 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal, said a release here today. The company's net profit incresaed steeply to Rs 82 crore as against Rs 5 crore while its gross profit stood at Rs 177 crore as against Rs 87 crore for the corresponding.....

IITM to establish a research centre in BHEL, Tiruchirapalli

Tiruchirapalli, Apr 24 (UNI) The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai will establish a research centre at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) campus here. A BHEL press release said the Centre will facilitate collaboration between IITM and BHEL to undertake research projects in the areas of design of boilers, manufacturing, metallurgical engineeering, mechanical engineering, structural design, Information Technology (IT) and other relevant areas of mutual interest. As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed.....

Chennai, Apr 24 (UNI) A niece of late Chief Minister M G Ramachandran, Ms Leelavathy today alleged she was prevented from filing nomination as an Independent candidate in the high-profile Andipatti Constituency. AIADMK Supremo and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is seeking re-election from Andipatti in the May eight polls to the Assembly. Talking to reporters, Ms Leelavathy, who donated a kidney to MGR when he suffered serious renal failure in the 80s, alleged she was abducted.....
