Hyderabad, Apr 24 (UNI) The Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) is all set to host the Asian Development Bank's 39th annual general meeting from May three to May 6.
Briefing reporters on the arrangements put in place for the prestigious international event to be attended by the financial think-tank of Asia, including Finance Ministers, senior Government officials and representatives of the multilateral development bank community, HICC General Manager Philip Logan said the centre had employed state-of-the-art technology in all aspects including IT infrastructure, telecommunications and mobile operable walls.
During the ADB meet, there would be concurrent meeting sessions The convention centre had six languauge interpretation booths with thousands of wireless IR receivers with headphones, for reception of simultaneous languauge interpretation.
Elaborate security arrangements had been made as prescribed by ADB security personnel, Mr Philip, who was Operations Manager for five sports during the Sydney Olympic Games, said.
