HCL Infosystems Q3 net declines to Rs 34.50 crore

Mumbai, Apr 24 : HCL Infosystems Ltd has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 34.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, this year as compared to Rs 41.31 crore for the quarter ended March 31 last year.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 528.22 crore in Q3 FY 04-05 to Rs 665.11 crore for Q3 FY 05-06.

As per the consolidated results, the group has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 84.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31, this year as compared to Rs 65.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, last year (Q3 FY 04-05). Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2,005.39 crore in Q3 FY 04-05 to Rs 3,199.08 crore for Q3 FY 05-06.

The Board of Directors has declared third interim (quarterly) dividend of Rs 2 per fully paid up equity share of Rs 2 each for the Financial Year 2005-06. The aggregate of interim (quarterly) dividends paid represents 300 per cent for nine months.
