Gujarat Gas Q1 declines to Rs 24.46 crore

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Gujarat Gas Company Ltd has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 24.46 crore for the quarter ended March 31 as compared to Rs 27.32 crore for the quarter ended March 31 last year.

Announcing the results to BSE, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 160.06 crore in Q1 FY 2005 to Rs 202.88 crore for Q1 FY 2006.

As per the consolidated results, the group has posted a rofit attributable to group of Rs 26.36 crore for the quarter ended March 31 (Q1 FY 2006) as compared to Rs 33.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31 last year (Q1 FY 2005). Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 194.64 crore in Q1 FY 2005 to Rs 239.77 crore for Q1 FY 2006.

SBI considering hike in Home Loans by 25 to 50 bps
