Govt field commnicators attend sensitisation workshop

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) A workshop for field communicators of the Government was inaugurated here today with the objective of sensitising them about the priorities and publicity requirements of different Ministries and Departments.

Regional Heads of Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP) and other Media Units are taking part in the two-day workshop, organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

These officers are publicising the policies and programmes of the Government at the grass root level.

Several key Central Ministries/Departments will be showing their presentations to the participants on major policy initiatives/programmes undertaken by them.

Organised by the Department of Field Publicity of the Ministry of Information and Broadcastingat, the workshop was inaugurated at the IIMC by Mr P K Tripathi, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information&Broadcasting.

GoAir chooses CFM56-5B to power A320 fleet

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) Low cost carrier GoAir has selected CFM56-5B engines to power its new fleet of 10 firm and 10 option Airbus A320 family aircraft.
