New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) Coming down heavily on the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), the Delhi High Court today questioned the tenacity of the corporation authorities for not going against a single ''big fish' and razing its illegal building in the last four months.

A division bench of Acting Chief Justice and Justice Rekha Sharma said despite their order on January 18, ''Not a single big fish has been caught''.

Referring to the high and mighty including politicians, the High Court said, ''We are not powerless and we know how to get thing done.'' When Senior Counsel Vinay Sabharwal appearing for the MCD said the MCD could not act as most of the buildings had been sealed complying to the order of the Supreme Court, the court said, ''Why are you creating confusion.'' The Judges said the court would not order for desealing of the buildings and invite contempt proceedings.

''We are not at your mercy. You have to act or we will pass an order,'' said the bench.
