Cong banking on performance: Scindia

Kochi, Apr 24 (UNI) Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, MP, today claimed that performance would speak and reap rich dividends for the Oommen Chandy Government in Kerala during the Assembly polls.

``The key issue is development. The choice is between a pro-development Congress and the Marxists who want to peep Kerala as an underdeveloped state,'' he said at a press conference.

He said the congress had considerably motivated the youth and women and ensured due share to them in development. The young parliamentarian said he could do a lot in his constituency, pursuing the goal of development as `passion and motto.' On the pact between the Democratic Indira Congress-Karunakaran and the Congress-led front, he said the results would show the real impact at the end of the elections.

Dismissing the exit poll results, he exuded confidence that the United Democratic Front (UDF) would stay in power, to continue its pro-developmental activities.
