BJP press spokesman dies

Jamshedpur, Apr 24 (UNI) Press spokesman of BJP (Kolhan region) Girish Bhasani died here early today following prolonged illness.

The 47-year old BJP leader was a bachelor and was suffering from kidney and liver ailment.

Mr Bhasani was also an Assistant Editor of a local Hindi weekly ''Rahi Nayee Rah Ki'' and worked as Press Secretary of Jharkhand Finance Minister Raghubar Das.

Mr Das and BJP Mahanagar president Rambabu Tiwari, condoled the death of Mr Bhasani and sympathised with members of the bereaved family.

His last rites will be held tomorrow, family sources said.
