RS Deputy Chairman condoles death of A B A Ghani Khan Choudhury

New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan today expressed grief over the death of veteran Congress leader and MP A B A Ghani Khan Choudhury.

In his condolence message, Mr Rahman Khan said in his death, the country has lost a sincere and experienced leader who represented Malda Parliamentary constituency consecutively for eight terms.

''His life was spent in promoting universal moral values and bettering the lives of the underprivileged. His service in various capacities, whether as a minister in the West Bengal government or as a union minister or as a member of various Parliamentary Committees will be remembered forever,'' Mr Khan said.

''May God give courage and strength to his family members to bear the loss of the departed soul. May his soul rest in peace,'' he added.

Reservation not the solution: Murthy
