Women suicide bombers hit Turkish mosque - CNN Turk

ISTANBUL, Apr 7 (Reuters) Two women bombers blew themselves up at a mosque in Turkey's Black Sea city Ordu today, leaving one bomber dead and the other injured, broadcaster CNN Turk said.

Police in Ordu were not immediately available for comment.

Separately, a bomb exploded in Turkey's mainly Kurdish southeast, CNN Turk said.

A bomb ripped through offices of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) on the outskirts of Istanbul on Wednesday, injuring two people, after a week of street clashes between police and Kurdish protesters in which 16 people died.

That blast came five days after another bomb attack in Turkey's largest city which killed one person and was blamed on Kurdish militants.

19000 cartridges recovered from container at JNPT

Mumbai, Apr 7 (UNI) Custom officials have recovered 19,000 live cartridges from a container at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) at Uran in Raigad district. Sources in the customs department, said here today that a Chembur-based metallic company had received a consignment from Al-hamida Metal trading company based in Kuwait.
