Silver shoots up further, gold rises on global advice

Mumbai, Apr 7: Values of silver today touched a new peak, while gold also rose on bullish global advice during the opening trading session, traders at the bullion market here said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 17,980, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,675, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,715.

Mumbai, Apr 7 (UNI) MCX has revised its membership fees under category of trading cum clearing member with effect from May one. Aligarh, Apr 7: The death toll in Aligarh riots rose to five with the recovery of one more body this morning, even as the indefinite curfew in the city areas continued for the second day.Fresh incidents of violence were reported today from Bhujpura bypass after the corpse was recovered. Naxalites release tribal students

Jagdalpur (CG), Apr 7 (UNI) Eight tribal students abducted by naxalites from Dodra village in Konta police station area of Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh were released last evening, police today said.
