Silver at all-time new peak, gold rates flat

Mumbai, Apr 7: Prices of silver today touched a new peak at Rs 18,095 per kg on bullish global advice while gold remained steady in the closing session, traders at the bullion market here said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18,095 (17,870), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,665 (8,665), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,715 (8,710).
