Moscow, Apr 7 (UNI) A court here has ordered the arrest of a sect head, who promised to resurrect children killed in the the 2004 Beslan school seige.
Grigory Grabovoi, who promised to resurrect the children killed in the Chechen attack, will face fraud charges.
''Within the framework of a criminal case investigating the activities of employees of the Grigory Grabovoi Foundation, the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow Central district charged Grabovoi with fraud,'' a spokesman of the Prosecutor's Office told Interfax news agency.
Grobovoi claimed that he could heal diseases and even resurrect people. He collected money from the parents of children killed during the tragic school siege, which led to the death of 331 people, including 186 children.
Moscow prosecutor Igor Pavlov said a criminal case had been opened against Grabovoi after parents duped by his schemes demanded an investigation into his activities.
''The number of members of Grabovoi's criminal gang was large -- from 10 to 15 people,'' Pavlov said.
