SBI strike hits banking services, enters fifth day today

Imphal, Apr 7 (UNI) SBI strike entered the fifth day today affecting banking services in Manipur.

The state government and people depend on the 16 branches of SBI for all sorts of financial transactions. Salary of the employees and pensions are also drawn from the SBI branches.

The CRPF personnel, posted at the bank branches, had a tough time explaining why the bank was closed.
