Patni Computer to provide IT services to Disney Mobile

Mumbai, Apr 7: IT major Patni Computer Systems has signed a multi-service contract with Disney Mobile, a new mobile phone service designed just for families.

According to this agreement Patni Computers will be responsible for development of consumer, retail and operational portals, and end-to-end system testing across multiple vendors and technologies used by Disney Mobile, a press release issued to the BSE said.

''Disney Mobile's selection of Patni for their Mobile Virtual network operators (MVNO) launch, is further validation of our capability to deliver quality IT services in complex telecom environments under aggressive deadlines to a globally recognised brand such as Disney,'' company's Vice President telecom and digital media Rohit Bedi said.

Aizawl, Apr 7 (UNI) Former Mizoram chief minister C h Chhunga's son Chalthanzuala shot and killed his friend Thanzuala at the latter's residence in Luangmual under Bawngkawn police here last night, police today said. The incident occurred when Thanzuala was watching TV with his wife and children. He died on the spot after Chalthanzuala shot at him from a carbine. Sources said Chalthanzuala had held his friend responsible for the separation with his wife in February.....
