Over 2 dozen antipersonal mine exploded, no casualty reported

Jammu, Apr 7 (UNI) More than two dozens anti personal mines exploded in Ramgarh sector at Indo-Pak international border in Jammu region since past 24 hours.

While confirming the explosion, defence sources, said fire in the grasses in the vicinity led to the anti-personnel land mines to explode.

Sources further said that more than 24 anti-personnel mines exploded simultaneously along the Indo-Pak border in Ramgarh belt.

Chennai, Apr 7 (UNI) The opposition DMK in Tamil Nadu today alleged violation of the model code of conduct by a District Collector and other officials and demanded that the Election Commission take stern action against them. Tiruchirapalli, Apr 7 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today released its first list of candidates for 49 constituencies for the May eight Assembly elections to the Tamil Nadu Assembly.
