KLO militant nabbed

Siliguri, Apr 7 (UNI) A Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) hardcore militant has been arrested by the Siliguri police this evening.

The militant, Rajesh Chhetri had been working in Bhutan. However after the 'Operation Flush out' by the Bhutan government, he managed to escape from there, sources said.

He was living in the Darjeeling district for the last three years.

Acting on a tip-off, people arrested the culprit at Sukna, nine kms from Siliguri town.

Darjeeling Superintendent of Police Rajesh Subarno said the militant did not have any documents.

The SP said police was still interrogating him. The accused was missing for six years, sources said.

A missing complain had been lodged by his family members, sources added.
