Justice Party to become BSP's alternative soon: Udit Raj

Lucknow, Apr 7 (UNI) The President of Justice Party Udit Raj today said the party will soon become an alternative to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) among the Dalits.

Addressing a rally here marking the completion of the Dalit Mukti Yatra of the party Mr Raj said the BSP was gradually losing its appeal among the Dalits due to internal conflicts.

''The Justice Party will soon become the alternative of BSP among Dalits and work for the creation of a society that Dr B R Ambedkar dreamt of,'' Mr Raj said.

Mr Raj also lambasted the UPA regime for failing to deliver the promises made in the Common Minimum Programme (CMP).

The CMP included issues like reservation in private sector and enactment of a national law on reservation, but failed to do anything concrete on these issues, Mr Raj alleged.

The leader said the party will fight for the cause for a common education system in the country.

The rally was also addressed by the Republican Party of India (RPI) leader Ram Das Athawle.
