"Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi" Holiday on April 11

Jammu, Apr 7 (UNI) The people of Jammu and Kashmir will celebrate the festival ''Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi'' on April 11.

As per a notification issued by the government, the holiday on account of ''Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi'', which was notified for April 12, 2006, will now be observed on April 11, 2006.

Kochi, Apr 7 (UNI) The entire English team, some of them accompanied by their family members, today took a ''sunset cruise'' on the backwaters, widely known for their scenic beauty and tranquility. The visitors went boating on the Kochi backwaters for nearly two hours and came back very impressed by the scenic beauty all around, sources at the Taj Malabar, where both the Indian and English teams are staying, said.
