Delhi Blues defeat PCB Greens to win women's series 5-0

Lahore, Apr 7 (UNI) The visiting Delhi Blues cricket team made a 5-0 clean sweep in the women's one-day series, beating Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Greens by 45 runs in the fifth and final match here.

After electing to bat first, Delhi Blues were all out for 186 runs in 47.1 overs. Then, they bowled out the home side for 141 runs in 48 overs to register fifth win on the trot.

Leggie Reema Malhotra bagged three wickets for 21 runs in eight overs after contributing of 42 runs with the bat, and was the deserving winner of the Woman of the Match award.

Opener Asha Rawat (32) , Dipti Dhiyani (31) and skipper Rajni Sharma (33) also made useful contributions.

Brief score: Delhi Blues 186 in 47.1 overs (Asha Rawat 32, Dipti Dhiyani 31, Reema Malhotra 42; Sajida Shah 4-27).

PCB Greens 141 in 48 overs (Taskeen Qadeer 33, Urooj Mumtaz 28; Rajwinder Kaur 4-25, Reema Malhotra 3-21).
