Ansal Properties increases authorise share capital to Rs 100 crore

Mumbai, April 07 (UNI) Ansal Properties&Infrastructure Ltd has decided to effect an increase in the authorised share capital from Rs 65 crore to Rs 100 crore.

Informing the BSE, the company said its board of directors at the meeting held on April 07, also cleared the sub-division of the equity shares of the company from their present denomination of Rs 10 each to Rs 5 each. The meeting also cleared the issue of securities up to the extent of Rs 2000 crore.

The board further cleared employee stock option by way of issuance of maximum 3,50,000 option (shares).

To enable commencement of hotelier and allied business as per ''other objects'' of the memorandum of association, the board will convene an extraordinary general meeting of the company on May 02, seeking members approval.

Nearly Rs three lakh looted from PNB

Gaya, Apr 27 (UNI) Criminals looted Rs 2.95 lakh from Nai Bazar branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) under Khijarsarai police station in the district today. Police Superintendent A K Jain said here that that six desperadoes barged into the branch and looted the booty from cash counters on gun point and managed to escape on their motorcycles. New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) A clerk of the Delhi Government's Irrigation and Flood Control Department allegedly hanged himself at his Kalyanpuri in East Delhi residence this evening. Lalita Prasad (51) was found hanging by the family members at about 1800 hrs at his Kalyan Vaas residence in Kalyanpuri area, according to sources. New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of cricket bookies with the arrest of three people from the staff quarters of a hospital in New Delhi district. Sanjeev Sharma, Sunil Sachdeva and Devendra Kumar were arrested from the staff quarters of Lady Harding Hospital here for betting on the India-England one day match in Kochi yesterday.
