Advani's 'Bharat Suraksha Yatra' to enter South Gujarat tomorrow

Surat, Apr 7 (UNI) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L K Advani's 'Bharat Suraksha Yatra' will enter South Gujarat tomorrow.

He will be accompanied by Chief Minister Narendra Modi, an official release said today.

The yatra, which began from Rajkot yesterday, will reach Bharuch by tomorrow noon and will be given a public reception at Netrang village on the way to Mandvi in Surat district.

Both Mr Advani and Mr Modi will address three public meetings at Mandvi, Vyara and Bardoli before entering Surat city in the night.

Mr Advani will address a public meeting at Sitaram Circle on the outskirts of the city, while Mr Modi and other important BJP leaders will also address the meeting.

After a brief halt here, Mr Advami's yatra will proceed to Vhilad on Sunday before entering Maharashtra by evening, the official release added.

Algeria, Israel, Morocco to join NATO navy patrols

RABAT, Apr 7 (Reuters) Algeria, Israel and Morocco have agreed to join NATO counter-terrorism naval patrols in the Mediterranean, the organisation said today in Rabat after its first meeting in an Arab country. The US-led defence alliance was meeting seven Mediterranean partners for talks, following regular political consultations that began in 1995 and were relaunched in 2004. China demand could boost oil price 14 dollar/bbl -US CBO

WASHINGTON, Apr 7 (Reuters) Rising energy demand in China could boost global crude oil prices by as much as 14 dollar a barrel over the next five years, the US Congress' nonpartisan budget analyst said on Friday.
