Ahmedabad, Apr 7 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani today expressed satisfaction at the response the twin 'Bharat Suraksha Yatras,' undertaken by him and party president Rajnath Singh, were getting.
''I am very pleased at the enthusiastic response the yatra is getting, '' he told mediapersons here, adding that Mr Rajnath Singh had called him up earlier and said he too was getting a ''good response'' from the people.
In response to a question on whether his party would support the likely amendments to be made to existing legislation to resolve the 'Office of Profit' controversy, Mr Advani noted that Articles 102 and 103 of the Constitution which dealt with the issue had a certain ''logic and rationale.'' ''Any proposed amendment should not undermine the logic and rationale of these provisions,'' he stressed.
