Mumbai, Apr 7 (UNI) In a unique marketing strategy of movie exhibition, Adlabs Cinema today launched a co-branded credit card in association with ABN-AMRO Bank as part of its efforts to provide value added services to movie buffs.

Cardholders get to enjoy a host of benefits at Adlabs Cinema- invitation to movie premieres and star nights, exclusive seating areas, reserved seats for new movies and a dedicated ticket counter.

The Co-branded credit cards aim to build consumer loyalty and is one of the measures towards creating ''Adlabs'' community of movie goers, said Ms Pooja Shetty, director of Adlabs Films at a press conference here.

She said the Gold Card offers cardholders 14 reward points for every Rs 100 spent at Adlabs, Classic Card offers card holders 10 reward points for every Rs 100 spent likewise. Both cards also offer two reward points for every Rs 100 spent outside Adlabs. A unique feature of this card is that cardholders can also choose to cross-redeem their reward points on ABN-AMRO bank credit cards's reward programme.

These points can be redeemed at Adlabs Cinemas for movie tickets.

Cardholders also get free food and gaming vouchers worth Rs 480, she said.

Commenting on the synergies of this association, Ms Shetty said it would enable Adlabs to understand and map the likes and dislikes of customers. Initiatives like these are going to act as differentiators in the business and in essence bring her company closer to delivering customer delight.

Executive Vice President of ABN-AMRO Bank Nitin Chopra said entertainment is a strong category where everybody is looking for partners and there is a huge demand for innovative, value added products and services that enhance overall customer experience.

Ms Shetty said Adlabs Films hopes to add 150 more screens by 2008 and 10 million customers.

Filmmaker Karan Johar who launched the credit card said being one of the directors of Adlabs Films, he shared the vision of multiplex revolution which gives a tremendous boost to the revenues of the Indian film industry.
