UTI Mutual Fund announces results of B-school contest

Mumbai, Mar 25 (UNI) Mutual funds major UTI Mutual Fund, along with the Indian Institute of Capital Markets, today announced the results of the finals of ''Insight-2006: Dream-a-Scheme'', a B-school contest.

The first prize of Rs 1,00,000 went to S P Jain Institute of Management&Research, while the first runners-up, the Indian Institute of Capital Markets, was awarded a prize of Rs 50,000.

The second runners-up prize was awarded to two teams from the S P Jain Institute of Management&Research, who won Rs 25,000 each.

The awards were presented to the winners by A K Purwar, Chairman and Managing Director, State Bank of India.

Zari industry affected by numerous problems: Study

Surat, Mar 25 (UNI) The century-old zari industry here is facing a number of problems and lack of effective intervention will lead to closing down the sector, a study revealed.
