Seminar on investor education and protection

Surat, Mar 25: A seminar on 'Investor Education and Protection', sponsored by Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF), Ministry of Company Affairs, Government of India, will be held in Surat on March 26.

The seminar will be organised by Department of Business and Industrial Management (DBIM) of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, said DBIM Professor and Head Dr Satendra Kumar.

The seminar will provide conceptual as well as practical inputs related to contemporary developments in the capital market, the oragnisers said, adding that it would also encourage younger generation to understand and invest in capital markets.

Prominent speakers at the seminar included Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd Vice President Sharad Bhatia, The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce President Dilip M Chasmawala, Gujarat State Consumer Dispute Reddressal Commission Member Mahendra K Joshi and Reliance Mutual Fund Vice-President V Ramanan.

Living Steel partnering with Bengal Shrachi

Mah govt to solve octroi problem soon: Deshmukh
