Illicit arms unit busted, man arrested

Mainpuri, Mar 25 (UNI) Police today unearthed a clandestine arms factory in the Bebar area of the district and arrested one person.

A large quantity of finished and semi-finished firearms and equipment used in the illicit trade were recovered.

The raid was conducted in village Kajihar, police said, adding the brother of the kingpin was nabbed.

Ribeiro calls for mechanism to monitor police performance

Rourkela, Mar 25 (UNI) Biramitrapur Police have arrested 119 people, including 32 women, in connection with attack on Adhunik Metallic Complex led by Kuarmunda Anchalik Surekha Committee of the tribals.
