CPI(M) state secretary Anil Biswas' condition deteriorates

Kolkata, Mar 25 (UNI) The condition of CPI(M) state secretary Anil Biswas today deteriorated as he continued to battle for life in a city nursing home.

The board of doctors that met this morning said in a bulletin, ''there has been deterioration in his neurological and cardio vascular state since early this morning.'' Describing his overall condition as critical, the bulletin said the blood pressure of Mr Biswas was unstable and it was being maintained on drugs. He is still on ventilatory support, it added.

A C I scan of brain, repeated this morning, showed further reduction in clot size but development of brain ''htem-infarcity.'' Mr Biswas, also a polit bureau member of CPI(M), was admitted to the nursing home following massive brain haemorrhage on March 18.

Palestinians to tell Arabs they need 130 mln dollars month
