Uma Bharti abstained from MP state Assembly session

Bhopal, Mar 24: Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Chief Minister Uma Bharti has not attended the winter and budget sessions of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly this year.

On the last day of the budget session today, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani informed that Ms Bharti had sought permission to remain absent during the session and she was permitted.

She had not attended the house in the winter session also.
