Vieira says Highbury return was his destiny

ROME, March 10 (Reuters) Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira says he will be thinking only about winning when he returns to his old club with Juventus in the Champions League.

The draw for the quarter-finals paired the Italian league leaders with Arsenal, taking the 29-year-old Frenchman back to Highbury for the first time since he left last year for Turin.

''At times destiny serves up some surprises,'' Vieira, who joined Arsenal in 1996 from AC Milan, told the Juve website.

''Obviously for me it will be a special match, seeing that I'll be returning to Highbury as part of the opposing team.

''But beyond that I'll be thinking only of winning.'' World Cup winner Vieira won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups while at Arsenal. The Highbury first leg takes place on March 28 with the return leg on April 5.
