SSO burns effigy of terrorism;Protests Varanasi blast

Jamshedpur, Mar 10 (UNI) The Secular Social Organisation (SSO) today lodged protest against the twin blasts in Varanasi after burning the effigy of terrorism at Sakchi area here today.

Hundreds of SSO activists shouted slogans against the terrorist attack at Sankat Mochan temple and the Varanasi Cantonment station on Tuesday.

President of SSO Nasar Firdausi, who led the demostration, said the external forces were hatching conspiracy to disrupt the communal harmony in the country and urged the secular forces to combat fundamentalism.

The demonstrators also observed two-minutes silence to pay homage to those killed in the blast.

Luxury tax relaxed for hotels in MP

Bhopal, Mar 10 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government will provide rebate on luxury tax for eight years to new industrialists investing in tourism sector besides relaxing luxury tax on hotel rent, Tourism, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said in the assembly today. Five land mines recovered

Visakhapatham, Mar 10 (UNI) Police unearthed five landmines planted on minor roads in G K Veedi Mandal in this district today.
