SCR, Andhra Bank enters MoU for disbursing staff salaries

Vijayawada, Mar 10 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) and the public sector Andhra Bank has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for disbursing salaries of the railway employees through the Andhra Bank in Vijayawada division.

Andhra Bank Deputy General Manager Neelamani Patel, talking to reporters after opening the a new branch of the bank at Governorpet here, said with the tie-up 21,000 railway employees from Gudur to Visakhapatnam in the division can draw the salary from the nearest Andhra Bank branches in their respective places soon.

The bank would set up an ATM in Vijayawada railway station, the first of its kind in the state.

The Railways were disbursing Rs 400 crore to its employees in the division every year, he added.

Commitee constituted for expanding duty drawback scheme

Patil says govt to consider giving security of temples to CISF
