Ramdev likely to conduct seperate study on AIDS in future.

Dehradun, Mar 10 (UNI) Yoga and pranayama basically improve immune system and could even help in fighting serious diseases like cancer and AIDS, according to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev.

Talking to the mediaperson here yesterday, the Yoga Guru said he plans to conduct an intensive study on AIDS and was hopeful that there was a posibility of AIDS prevention and management through Yoga.

Baba Ramdev, who is here to conduct a seven-day Yoga camp scheduled to begin today, refered to the recent labour controversy about his Pharmacy and said that it was "not a corporate house", and now as the Uttaranchal Government had given it a clean chit, there was no room for any suspicion in this regard.

''Labour laws are strictly being followed in my Pharmacy,'' he asserted, adding that however, the controversy had only added to Yoga-Ayurveda's popularity.

Stressing that he would always remain "clean", he said people should focus on taking advantage of the knowledge instead of raising such controversies.

Speaking on Yoga, he said his 90 per cent focus has always been to cure patients through Yoga practice. ''Health is our birth right and a person can not live on medicine for a longer period'', he added.

He further said that in the modern era, a huge amount of money was being spent on arms and medicines while a single disease like obesity was enough to disbalance the economy of a country.

Baba Ramdev said that he was more famous as a cultural personality than a 'Hindu brand', claiming that he was the most popular Indian in Pakistan followed by Amitabh Bachchan and Sania Mirza.
