Police lob teargas shells to disperse irate mob

Patna, Mar 10 (UNI) Police lobbed teargas shells to disperse an agitating mob at Ashok Rajpath here, demanding recovery of a clerk of BPSC who was kidanapped a few days back.

Deputy Police Superintendent Sushant Kumar Saroj said local people were protesting the kidnapping of the staff of BPSC, Shaukat Ali.

He said police resorted to lob teargas shells when the agitating people began to throw stones on cops. Some policemen sustained injuries in the incident.

Mr Saroj informed that police lobbed teargas shells the to disperse the irate mob as lathicharge failed to dissuade the enraged people to retreat.

Police were, however, trying its best to rescue the abducted from the clutches of the kidnappers.

TRS members stage walkout alleging neglecting of Telangana

Hyderabad, Mar 10 (UNI) Members of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti today staged a walkout in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly alleging that irrigation projects in Telangana region were being deliberately neglected.
