Nine opera party members killed in accident

Tezpur, Mar 10 (UNI) At least nine people, including two women, of an opera party were killed at Baliajan under Gohpur police station when the truck carrying them skidded off the road this afternoon.

Official sources said another 19 were injured of whom two were stated to be in a critical condition. They were shifted to Biswanath Chariali civil hospital.

Vigilance committee to ensure presence of doctors in hospitals

Patna, Mar 10 (UNI) The Bihar government is set to constitute vigilance committees to ensure presence of doctors in hospitals. Health Minister Chandrika Rai announced in the state Assembly that vigilance committees would be formed at block and district levels to ensure presence of doctors in hospitals. Kingfisher Airlines bags award at ITB Berlin

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) Kingfisher Airlines was today conferred an international award for best new domestic airline for excellent services and cuisine by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) at ITB Berlin. Motorcyclist killed in accident

Pratapgarh, Mar 10 (UNI) A motorcyclist was killed and the pillion rider grievously injured after they were hit by a speeding car under Antu area here this morning. According to police, motorcycle rider Rajendra Yadav (25) died on the spot and critically injured Pushpa was later taken to Allahabad for medical treatment. Haryana govt for implementation of Citizen's Charter

Chandigarh, Mar 10 (UNI) The Haryana government has directed the heads of all departments to accelerate the process of formulation and effective implementation of Citizens's Charter in order to provide information about the services provided by their department to the citizens of the state.
