Motorcyclist killed in accident

Pratapgarh, Mar 10 (UNI) A motorcyclist was killed and the pillion rider grievously injured after they were hit by a speeding car under Antu area here this morning.

According to police, motorcycle rider Rajendra Yadav (25) died on the spot and critically injured Pushpa was later taken to Allahabad for medical treatment.

Pushpa was going to appear for her BA examination when the mishap occurred.

The body had been sent for autopsy.

Haryana govt for implementation of Citizen's Charter

Vijayawada, Mar 10 (UNI) The body of a student who was washed away in the gushing waters of Bandar Canal yesterday was recovered near the American Hospital in the city today. Police said the body of Vijay Kumar (18) was sent to the University Government hospital for post-mortem. Search operation was on to trace the body of Vajral Varun Sai, who was also swept away.
