Sydney, Mar 10 (UNI) South African wicketkeeper Mark Boucher has fired another salvo at the touring Australian team, labelling Test recalls Damien Martyn and Michael Kasprowicz ''Ashes rejects''.

''I believe that they have called up a couple of, what do they call them, Ashes rejects, or something like that,'' Boucher was quoted by the ''Herald Sun'' as saying.

The duo had been left out of the squad for the Ashes series last year.

Earlier, Boucher had raised a storm when he said that he lost respect for the Aussie players following the away series against them where his team was racially abused by the crowds. He later called on the South African crowds to be equally hostile to the tourists.

He refused to apologise for his comments and said he never asked the spectators to abuse the players ''But I wasn't blind to the fact that it was probably going to happen.'' ''I'm not making any apologies for what I said or anything like that. I know what I said and I meant it,'' he said.

''If people want to take my words and twist them around, that's up to them. I never ever once said that the crowd should start abusing the Australians or anything like that,'' he added.
