Gram pradhan arrested possessing Chinese pistol

Siddharthnagar, Mar 10 (UNI) A gram pradhan has been arrested in Lotan area of the district for possessing a 9 mm Chinese pistol.

Police today said Khiridiha gram pradhan Sant Bahadur Singh was arrested last night.

The vendor of the pistol Rafiq of Shohratgarh town had also been nabbed, police added. He had obtained the firearm from Nepal.

Bhopal, Mar 10 (UNI) The main opposition Congress, along with the SP and BSP, staged a walkout in the Madhya Pradesh assembly today over alleged phone tapping of certain legislators. Raising the matter during zero hour, Leader of the Opposition Jamuna Devi made certain remarks that were expunged by Speaker Ishwardas Rohani after Power Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya described them as objectionable. Forest staff uniform cloth to be purchased from APCO: Minister
