Four passengers killed, 48 injured as a bus falls into gorge

Jammu, Mar 10 (UNI) At least four people were killed on the spot and 48 others injured, many of them seriously, when a bus plunged into a deep gorge at Magar Gad in district Kathua today.

According to police sources, the accident occurred this morning when the driver of the bus, on the way from Jammu to Kathua, lost control, while overtaking a vehicle, the bus rolled down into a deep gorge.

Four passengers were killed on the spot. The injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Kathua.

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) There is no proposal at present to connect Greater Noida with the Delhi Metro, Minister of State for Urban Development Ajay Maken told the Lok Sabha today. The Minister was replying to a written question on whether there was any proposal under consideration by the government to link Greater Noida with Metro Rail.
