Six persons including five bar girls arrested

Mumbai, Mar 10 (UNI) A bar owner and five bar girls were arrested early today for running the business after the stipulated time. Police had raided the Greenarya Bar near Sheetla Devi Mandir, Mahim in northcentral Mumbai at around 0130 hrs today and arrested Mr Vishwanath Sitaram Koshi (42) owner of bar and five bar girls, police said here today. Reformation of education system needed

Aizawl Mar 10: The Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), the state's apex students' body, has appealed to the government for reforming the education system in the state.In an executive meeting held here today, MZP has expressed concern over the lack of students in government-run schools at the primary level while English medium schools are overcrowded and has suggested several remedies for this.The MZP came to the conclusion that the best and easiest remedy available would be to amalgamate those schools.....

Still miles to go for self-sufficiency

Aizawl, Mar 10: Despite Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga's recorded remarks of making Mizoram a self-sufficient state within three years when he came to power in 1998, a few more years are still needed to see the success of the Mizoram Intodelh (self-sufficiency) Project.''About four crore has been spent in the project. Most of the selected plants in the project are long-term plants. We need some more years to see the success. We have only made a start'', Agriculture minister H.....
