3 Judges, 2 Additional Judges For Bombay HC

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) Bombay High Court Additional Judges Avinash Pundalik Lavande, Ambadas Haribhau Joshi and Bhushan Pradyumna Dharmadhikari have been appointed Judges of the High Court, it was announced today.

The appointments in that order of seniority will take effect upon their assuming charge of their respective office, the announcement said.

President A P J Abdul Kalam also appointed two Additional Judges-- Shailendra Uttamchand Kamdar and Nelson Apolinario Britto-- of the High Court, the announcement said.

The two appointments in that order of seniority will be for two years each starting March 15, 2006, it said.

Banking service resumes after computer crash

Imphal, Mar 10 (UNI) Banking services in Manipur, badly affected since Wednesday following systems failure at the SBI main branch, was rectified this afternoon. State Bank of India officials said the computer system crashed at the main branch on M G Avenue here owing to which there was no financial transactions since March 8.
