Country's first integrated realty property on stream

Bangalore, Mar 3 (UNI) A Rs 1500 crore integrated urban neighbourhood, with a 30-storeyed office space, is being built in the city by the Brigade Group, a leading property developer in Karnataka.

The office to come up in about one million sq ft of area would be the tallest building in the state and located in the lifestyle enclave.

The enclave would also have a mall with a 11-screen multiplex to be set up by the PVR Group and was said to be the largest in the country with over 3,000 seating capacity.

Briefing newspersons here, Brigade Group Managing Director M R Jaishankar said ''Our vision when planning this unique project was to create a world class enclave.'' Designed by the New York-based H O K Brigade Gateway, the enclave to be built on a 40-acre land in Malleswaram-Rajajinagar area in the city, would have 1,260 apartments, a 250-bedded hospital to be run by Columbia Asia, a school and a two-acre man made lake. It would have a provision for parking 6,000 cars, he informed.

Mr Jaishankar said ''We intend to create places that enrich the experience of living.'' Brigate Gateway would cater to residential, commercial, leisure and entertainment needs of residents of North Bangalore and was based on the best practices of modern town planning, which incorporated a fine blend of engineering and architectural excellence, he added.

The project would be completed by 2009 with the Hospital ready in about 18 months' time, he said and added that the Brigade Group was currently handling projects worth Rs 3,000 crore in Bangalore and Mysore.

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) Bombay High Court today rejected an interim bail application of suspended Assistant Police Inspector Dilip Kamath, accused in the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam in which Abdul Karim Telgi is the prime accused.
