TOKYO, Mar 2 (Reuters) The Nikkei average rose 0.65 percent at the start of trade on Thursday as investors returned to shares in Kyocera Corp. and other high-tech firms, tracking a rebound by similar U.S. stocks.
The Nikkei was up 110.55 points at 16,075.01 as of 0005 GMT.
The broader TOPIX index was up 0.82 percent at 1,649.05.
