DDA to hold camp at Rohini

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will organise a Lok Shivir on Friday to deal with conversion cases among its allottees under the Rohini Residential Scheme.

Activities such as execution of conveyence deed, sale of conversion application, reciept of conversion applications and reciept of other miscellaneous requests related to conversion and lease will be taken up at the camp, a DDA release said.

BlackBerry back into business; service restored

New Delhi, Oct 13: After three days of disruptions, BlackBerry services offering e-mail, messenger and other online services were restored, Canada-based Research in Motion said. "Email systems are operating and we are continuing to clear any backlogged messages. Support teams are working to minimise the impact on our customers... We are working to restore normal service levels in all markets as quickly as we can," Research In Motion (RIM), maker of BlackBerry, Chief Information Officer Robin Bienfait said. New Delhi, Oct 13: The legal fraternity, supporters and members of Team Anna were shocked following the brutal assault on Supreme Court lawyer and key Anna-aide Prashant Bhushan who was beaten up mercilessly by two people. Income Tax dept starts scrutinising high-value transactions

New Delhi, Oct 12: Stepping up efforts to check tax evasion and unearth black money, the Income Tax Department has started scrutinising high-value transactions. "The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) will verify all high-value transactions. Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has been given all powers under various sections of the Income Tax Act to collect information", a senior Income Tax official said. The verification will help the Income Tax Department to go into the source of funding.....
